December 13, 2008 : Vision Boards : You may have made 'dream boards' before but probably not like this. Words and pictures that are 'goal oriented' can actually limit possibilities! Learn a new, more profoundly powerful way to map your destiny. January 13, 2009 : The Chakras : The chakras are a system of energy centers in the body. These energy centers affect different aspects of your life, your own energy level, even your ability to experience joy. This class will focus on the seven largest chakras, teaching you how to identify them and how they are functioning. You will also learn an ancient Sanskrit method for aligning your chakras. February 7, 2009 : Vision Boards : please see above description. Private Tarot ClassesI have read tarot for over forty years. These cards are more than decks to me, they are my friends. They visit me in dreams. They gave me hope when I had none and they have, repeatedly, surprized and delighted me with their uncanny accuracy. They can do the same for you. I like to teach Tarot one-on-one. It is deep work, the Tarot, and very personal, so I prefer the more intimate environment of one teacher with one student. Also, this allows the student to learn at his or her own rate. Classes can be individually tailored to the needs of the individuasl student. Beginners will learn how to incorporate the images of the Tarot into the subconscious mind, allowing it to inform readings at the intuitive level. The history, images and numerology of the cards will also be addressed.
Intermediate learners will learn more about whatever it is they desire to take next: more layouts, how to construct one's own layouts, the subtle interactions between cards, handling tricky situations.
Advanced learners, those who have read the cards for years, are welcome to learn the very unique layout called The Celestial Spheres, a layout that combines the underpinnings of astrology with the wisdom of the Tarot cards. This is a complex layout meant for whole life readings.
Beginners, if you do not have a deck, do not purchase one. I will provide you with a deck to use. The class will help to inform your personal choice of a deck. This class will focus on allowing the archetypal imagery and content of the Tarot to become a part of your being, so that reading becomes second nature to you. For intermediate and advanced classes, bring your working deck. For the most part, I have given up teaching group classes on Tarot, though, in special circumstances I will do it.
